Presentamos un especial de los Screaming Females, una banda estadounidense de punk rock compuesta por Marissa Paternoster (voz y guitara), Mike Abbate (bajo y voz) y Jarrett Dougherty (batería).
La banda es originaria de la ciudad de New Brunswick, New Jersey, y empezó a tocar en los sótanos de varias casas en la ciudad ante la falta de lugares específicos para hacer conciertos. Poco a poco ganó fama fuera de New Brunswick, y, hasta la fecha, han sacado cinco álbumes de estudio. El último disco titulado Ugly salió en abril, y desde entonces han estado de gira en promoción de este disco. Marissa, Mike y Jarrett nos explicarán un poco acerca de la banda, con algunas anécdotas al azar y nos presentan las canciones de la banda.
Screaming Females is an American punk rock band featuring Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals; Mike Abbate on bass and vocals and Jarrett Dougherty on drums. The group comes from New Brunswick, New Jersey, where they started playing in basements of houses in the city due to the lack of decent venues for gigs. Little by little people started to pay attention and they now have five studio albums. The last album entitled Ugly came out in April, and since then they have been on tour promoting it. Marissa, Mike and Jarrett will talk a little about the band, telling some quirky anecdotes and introducing some of their tracks.
